Level for EC in 2020 Level of the European Championship in 2020The Association Fjordhesten Denmark is looking forward to meet all of you, at the European Championshipin week 32 of 2020. The Championship will be held at Vilhelsmsborg, Bedervej 101, 8320 Mårslet.Junior age is to the year of their 18th birthday.The rules for equipment, vaccinations and general competitions rules, follows the rules of the hostingcountry.Showjumping:There will be held 3 departments (over 3 days) in the following method and heights:JuniorDepartment 1: 70 cm – 274.2.5 with 11 jumpsDepartment 2: 80 cm – 274.2.5 with 12 jumpsDepartment 3: 80 cm – 274.2.5 with 12 jumpsSeniorDepartment 1: 80 cm – 274.2.5with 11 jumpsDepartment 2: 90 cm – 274.2.5 with 12 jumpsDepartment 3: 90 cm - 274.2.5 with 12 jumpsIn 274.2.5 (https://inside.fei.org/sites/default/files/Jump_Rules_26thEd_2019_clean_correx_Art261.4.4.pdf) the equipage rides 2 phases. All equipages, are allowed to ride both phases, also if they get penalties in first phase (though not if the equipage gets eliminated in first phase). The equipage with lowestpenalties after both phases is the winner. Equipages with same penalties, is placed according to the time insecond phase.There will be 1 double combinations in second departments. In third department there can be a doublecombination in both phases. There can be plastic mat (blue “plastic water”) in second and third department.No open water is allowed. Double combinations needs to be “open” without filling.A separate prize ceremony will be held after each of the departments. The winner is the one with the lowestpenalties. Equipages with same penalties, is placed according to the time in second phase. The number ofplacements follows the hosting country, but no less than 3 will be awarded.Level for EC in 2020 The overall result, will be calculated by adding the penalties from all 3 rounds. If equipages have the sameamount of penalties for 1th 2th and/or 3.th place, there will be a jump off against the clock with 6 jumps (on the last day of the competition (directly after department 3), and the equipage with lowest penalties and thereafter fastest time wins.Other placements follows the hosting countries rules of number of placements. If equipages have the samenumber of penalties, a jump off will take place, following the above rules. Remaining equipages is places according to penalties, and if equal, the fastest time from third departments second face, determines theplacements.If there are less than 4 participants in each category, the junior/senior will compete again each other. The technical level should be lower, than the one for Showjumping Cones – Carriage width + 25 cm, 220 m/minIf there are less than 4 junior participants in allround, the junior/senior will compete against each other Calculation of allround resultLevel for EC in 2020 Side 4 af 4The results from the dressage, cones and showjumping are converted to points by the number of participants.No. 1 gets points equal to the number of entries, No. 2 gets points equal to the number of entries minus 1 and so on.If the same equipage performs all three branches, it is given 3 extra points. In addition, extra points areawarded to those placed in the class.The number of placed is ¼ of the number of starters. No. 1 gets additional points equal to the number of placed, No. 2 gets additional points equal to the number of placed minus 1 and so on. This gives 2 pointsdifference in the total points for the placed, and 1 point difference for the unplaced. If there arehorses with equal score of total points on medal places, the placement in cones is to determine the ranking. If still equal the placement in dressage, and finally the placement in showjumping.Team competitionEach country can compete with 3 mix teams. Each team should consist of an equipage from jumping,dressage and driving. The team can choose from both junior and senior equipages to be on the team. Eachcountry can find a reserve in each discipline (jumping, dressage and driving) and it must be someone, who is already participating in the championship. The team can only replace an equipage if a horse is eliminated onveterinary conditions before the competition starts.The following point system will be used for Team competition and points are given after each department:1. Rules of vaccination in Denmark
Valid attest of vaccination (Date, product brand, batch number, the vets stamp with specification of name and signature) from a vet who is not the owner of the horse/pony, the following has to be displayed from the attest of vaccination in the passport of the competing horse:
For horses/ponies who start their basic vaccination program after the 31st of December 2012, following rules apply:
The horse/pony has to be basic vaccinated against the flu, which means that it has to have two vaccinations with a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 92 days within. The day of the vaccination counts. Afterwards, the horse/pony needs a booster vaccination, which should be given 7 months after the second basic vaccination, at the latest. The horse/pony needs a yearly vaccination afterwards – on the day of the last vaccination at the latest. It is allowed to compete after the first two basic vaccinations and before the booster vaccination, but no vaccination must have been given within 7 days before arrival to the event.
All yearly vaccinations given after the 31st of December 2012, must be given on the day of the last vaccination, no matter the basic vaccination.
For horses/ponies who is basic vaccinated before the 1st of January, following rules apply:
The horse/pony has to be basic vaccinated against the flu, which means that it has to have two vaccinations with a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 92 days within. The day of the vaccination counts. The horse/pony must be revaccinated each year, which means at the latest 367 days after the last vaccination. If the due date is transcended, he horse/pony needs another basic vaccination. After the 31st of December 2012, the yearly revaccination must be given on the day of the last vaccination, at the latest.
No corrections of the date of the vaccination must be done without a vets comment and a vets stamp and signature. The rider must show valid and yearly vaccinations all the way back to a valid basic vaccination, if he/she is asked at events.
